Sometimes a person needs more than just routine homecare services. Caring People has worked with professionals to develop specialty programs to address challenges that face individuals whether they are suffering from Alzheimer's Disease or returning home after surgery.
Orthopedic/Post Surgery Care
Caring People has partnered with leading physiatrists and physical therapists to train our Home Health Aides in dealing with restrictions and complications individuals face post surgery. Our program is designed to help clients navigate through the short term changes that occur when they return home.
Our nurses will meet with you prior to surgery to discuss care options. Once the surgery has been performed and a discharge date set, our nurse will visit the client in either the hospital or rehab center to complete a comprehensive assessment and develop a plan of care.
Medication Management Program
Caring People has developed a monthly Medication Management Program for individuals who need supervision in dealing with their medications and do not have a relative or friend nearby who can assist them. Our nurse will speak with the physician, review the medications, monitor changes and come in every two weeks to prepour the daily doses.
Dementia Care At Home
Caring People recognizes the challenges facing families in caring for a person with dementia. It is our goal to provide the highest quality of life for those who suffer from Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, through the delivery of individualized services designed to promote a safe and stimulating environment within the comfort and familiarity of their own home.
Caring People offers a comprehensive home care program for people with dementia. This program is designed to bring services into the home to assist in managing the progression of the dementia process. Many of the services offered are not readily available to persons with dementia unless they are institutionalized in a nursing home or adult care facility.
